Annie Heqing Huang is the editor-in-chief of the North Texas Chinese Literary Association in the United States. She has loved reading classical poetry and other literary works since childhood. After graduating from Zhengzhou University in China with a degree in Electrical Engineering, she worked as an electrical engineer for ten years. In 2002, she moved to the United States to study at California State University, East Bay, where she earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration and another Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. She currently works for a California government department.
In her free time, she enjoys music, gourmet food, beautiful scenery, health and wellness, advocates for a low-carbon and energy-saving lifestyle, and records her life in writing. Since 2007, she has published her work in the most popular Chinese publications, such as the Sing Tao Daily, World Journal, Dallas News, and World Chinese Weekly. She also published a book titled “The Happiest Place,” which is a collection of her published Chinese essays.
